AutoVelo
How can we get people to drive less and ride more? AutoVelo is designed for those accustomed to the comfort and convenience of driving. AutoVelo provides more convenient transportation for short distances and commuting.
This bicycle are made by Eric Stoddard from Speed Studio Design.
AutoVelo mimics the automotive seating position, with identical seat height, back angle, hand and foot positions. Unlike most recumbent bikes, the rider is at eye level with traffic. The low-stepover frame makes entry/egress easy, and riders can easily put their feet down. AutoVelo is an ideal platform for electric cycling, with rear wheel motor and battery mounted neatly below the frame.
